Osan Glocal Social Cooperative
Osan Glocal Social Cooperative started a preparatory meeting in 2019 with the goal of practicing for the healthy growth of local children and a sustainable local community, and officially launched as a social cooperative through authorization in 2020.
Currently, we are entrusted with the operation of two community child centers and three Together Growing Centers in Osan City, and we are building a foundation for children and local residents to grow together in various fields such as care, education, environment, and public interest activities.
In particular, we are realizing practice-oriented local welfare by placing respect for children's rights, ecological sensitivity, digital citizenship, and community-linked activities as core values.
Based on cooperation among the public, private, and academic sectors and resident participation, we will continue to pursue various public interest projects and innovative community models to build a society without discrimination and a community where everyone is together.
Operation of community child centers
Osan Glocal Social Cooperative currently operates two community child centers on consignment to ensure the healthy growth and safe care of children in the region.
The center provides a variety of programs for the holistic development of children, including daily care, basic learning, cultural experiences, ecological sensitivity education, and emotional support, and functions as a care community where families and the local community cooperate.
Each center places the highest priority on children's rights and operates based on autonomy and participation to enable children to grow into the masters of their own lives.
Operation of the Together Growth Center
함께자람센터는 방과후 돌봄 사각지대 해소를 목적으로 운영되는 공적 돌봄 공간으로, 오산글로컬사회적협동조합은 현재 3개의 함께자람센터를 위탁 운영하고 있습니다.
아동의 자기주도성과 사회적 기술 향상을 중심으로 구성된 활동 프로그램을 통해, 일방적인 보호가 아닌 아동이 ‘함께 자람’을 경험할 수 있는 환경을 조성합니다.
또한, 지역 학교 및 유관 기관과 연계하여 공공성과 전문성을 강화하고 있으며, 지역사회 안에서 아동이 안정적으로 성장할 수 있도록 협력 체계를 지속적으로 확대해나가고 있습니다.
